What I love about First Baptist Church:  First Baptist is like a great big family to me and I love to see how different ages of people join together to help teach our children about Jesus’ love.

Hometown:  Dothan, Al

Best childhood memories:  Spending time with my Granny visiting family and her neighbors. Going to VBS and being a part of our youth choir.

Favorite Bible verse:  My favorite verse changes quiet often. Usually it is one of the verses we are teaching in Bible Skills, Drills, & Thrills. Right now it is Philippians 4:13.

Favorite book:  The Bible. It has everything!

Favorite food: Cinnamon Rolls

Favorite movies:  Comedies and children’s movies

Favorite vacation spot:  Beach

Habit I want to quit:  Procrastination

Hidden talent:  I try to find the best in everyone and in every situation.

Hobby:  Painting, crocheting, etc. I always have something new on my list of “Things To Learn To Do Before I Die.” Next on the list is Mosaics.

What music would you find on my IPOD or IPHONE: If I had music on my IPHONE, it would be VBS music, contemporary Christian.

Proudest moment:   The birth of my children

Strangest thing I have done:   I know no one will believe this, but, I went parasailing.

Way to relax:  Read

Weirdest thing I’ve eaten: Escargot. I still don’t know why I thought I needed to eat them.

What I wanted to be when I grew up:    This question should be “What I want to be when I grow up” because I have not decided if I am grown yet! When I was younger I can remember wondering what I was going to do with my life. I would ask God what He had planned for me. But, I let my shyness get in my way. I do believe I am doing what God had planned for me to do. But, I could have been doing it so many years before if I had just let God be in charge instead of thinking I had to do it all by myself! Parents, before your child is even born, pray that they will follow God’s plan for their lives. Boys & Girls, pray and ask God continually if you are where He wants you to be and if you are doing what He has planned for you because He has a wonderful plan for your life. A life where you can help others come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior.
