Annie Armstrong wrote letters!  So many in fact that one source reported 18,000 in one year. That's 49 letters every day.   Wow!  "I wish, dear brother," she wrote, "that with this letter I might send you a large palm leaf and a very attractive pitcher of iced lemonade for I think if you had these, you might have more patience to consider the numerous items which I will now have to present to you, but as these comforts ... cannot be sent through the mail, I will have to ask that you either provide them for yourself or -- consent to be a martyr."  What "numerous items" are we presenting to others on behalf of our Lord's work?  Have you had to consider being a martyr for Christ by giving up some comfort in His behalf?
