The men of FBCC have the opportunity to participate in several different ministries through the course of the year. We Biblically train and equip men to be spiritual leaders in their homes, in the church, and in their places of business. The Men’s Ministry develops men in Christian living to make an eternal impact for this generation and those to come. We accomplish this mission through Bible study, discipleship classes, mentoring, retreats, mission trips and special events. In today’s culture, it’s increasingly important for men to honor God with their hearts and lives.

Construction Team

Our men and often their spouses take a yearly construction trip to volunteer their time and skills for the advancement of the kingdom. This group has traveled all throughout the United States, carrying with them the Word of God and tool belts! They normally go the second week in June each year.

Men’s Prayer Group

We have a group of men that meets each Tuesday night at 6:30pm at the church for a men’s Bible study. It’s an opportunity for men to share their hearts, learn from the Word, and fellowship together on a weekly basis. We also have a group that meets at a local restaurant each week on Tuesday mornings for a devotional and prayer.

Outdoor Ministry

Each year for the past 9 years our men and teenage boys have gone for a weekend of fishing on the Tennessee River. It’s a wonderful time of fellowship and enjoying the beauty of God’s creation. It gives an opportunity for mentoring and discipleship and allows for some of our men to connect with students. We also have opportunities for hiking and camping around the southeast from time to time.
