Sunday School

FBCC has a wonderful Sunday School ministry that teaches the Bible on a weekly basis. We have classes for every age group, from the young to the seasoned!

Classes gather each Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m.

The men and women who lead our classes have a heart for studying God’s Word and a gift for teaching it. Our classes are small groups of people who gather together to share life. They are made up of people just like you. These small groups provide opportunities for new friendships to grow and for exploring how the Bible applies to our lives. Whether you are just checking things out, a new believer or have been a Christ-follower for quite a while, you need encouragement and the opportunity to grow.

Both your faith and relationship with God and with others will be strengthened.

Discipleship

Our adults meet on a weekly basis on Sunday nights at 6 p.m. for Bible study in our church parlor. This group has completed studies including David Platt’s Radical and Follow Me, Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace, Michael Catt’s Refresh, and several others.

We also have a GriefShare ministry that begins new classes each year for people who are experiencing dealing with the loss of a loved one. After finishing the 13 week course, members have the opportunity to continue meeting with support group.

Students

The students meet each Wednesday night at “The Wharf.” A wharf is designed as a structure on the shore of a harbor where ships may dock to load and unload cargo or passengers as quickly and efficiently as possible.   We want “The Wharf” to be a safe place – a consistent platform – even during changing tides of young adult lives, where the students in our community can gather to learn the truth of God’s Word, worship together and fellowship with one another.
