Children's Bible Skills, Drills, Thrills

Would you like for your child to know the books of the Bible and be able to find them?  Would you like your child to know Bible verses and how to apply them in his life?  Bible Skills, Drills, & Thrills provides training in Bible skills in a fun format. Games, puzzles, crafts, music and other fun activities are all a part of this Bible skills development program.

Boys and girls are divided into two age groups, grades 1-3 and 4-5. The 4-5 grade children will be prepared to participate in a competitive Children’s Bible Drill on the church, association and state level, if they wish to participate.

Girls In Action

Girls in Action is a discipleship organization for girls in grades 1 through 5. Through GA's, girls learn about, pray for, give to, and do missions work. They also make new friends and have lots of fun!

GA's provide:

  • A Christ-based peer group for girls
  • Hands-on ministry experiences
  • Opportunities for girls to develop leadership skills
  • Learning about the biblical basis of missions
  • Godly mentors for girls

Royal Ambassadors

Royal Ambassadors is a Bible-centered missions education organization for boys in grades 1-5. There are two categories:

  • Lads-learn scripture so they can teach others
  • Crusaders-Along with learning they help others in Jesus’ name

“We are ambassadors for Christ” (2 Corinthians 5:20a) is the motto that the boys are taught to live by. An RA is loyal to Christ, His church, and to each other.

Advancement and badges are earned similar to Boy Scouts.

Sunday School

We use Lifeway’s Bible Studies for Life materials on Sunday mornings as we guide our Kindergarten-5th grade boys and girls to connect with God’s Word-leading them toward knowing Christ and growing in their relationship with Him. Our faithful, loving teachers focus on 10 concept areas to do this using creative ways to tell the Bible story and using hands-on learning activities:

  • God
  • Jesus
  • The Bible
  • Creation
  • Family
  • Self
  • Church
  • Community & World
  • Holy Spirit
  • Salvation

At the end of Sunday School, children will need to be picked up by a parent and taken to the worship service. Kindergarten-2nd grade boys and girls will have the option of leaving the service at the end of the Children’s Sermon with a leader who will take them to Children’s Worship in Celebration City where they will participate in Worship for Life. This is a continuation of the lesson they started during Sunday School.
